The condition of Queen Myeongseong (Park Jung Soo ) is not getting any better. King Sukjong (Ji Jin Hee) is getting worried because he did not follow one of her favors to him. Because of that King Sukjong is placed in a condition wherein he is very depressed and has to think of some ways. When he was on his way to his house, he told his guardians to leave him for a while. His adviser told him that it was already late at night but he still insisted to stay since he still could not sleep well. While strolling, he accidentally saw Dong Yi (Haan Hyo Joo). The king was surprised to see her there at that time of the night. During those times, they talked and shared about the things they remember about their parents. Meanwhile, Dong YI then went to see Lady Eum. She told her that she had already found some evidence in the case that she was asked to investigate. She only needs to see the letter that the Queen received. Lady Eum wanted to know what she was up to. But Dong Yi answered her that she would let them know if she is already done with her investigation. They immediately went to the asisstant of the medicine man who mixed the poison to the medicines of the Queen mother. When they arrived there, they were shocked seeing her lying on the floor. In her hand was a piece of paper whereine she wrote her confessions.
