The two sisters finally meet again at the funeral service of William Alcantara (Joel Torre). Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa) is surprised to see Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) working as a servant at the Alcantara family. Margaret can not believe that after long years, she gets to meet her sister whom she believed is her enemy. Margaret kept asking questions to Virginia about where she lived before and why she worked at the Alcantara family but Virginia did not gave her the complete information. Later on, Marco approached Virginia, who is very glad to see her back. Marco never thought that the Montenegro family will still see Virginia who was away from them for a long time. Meanwhile, Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes) was also very shock knowing that Virginia and the Montenegro family are related to each other. On the other hand, Tomas Alcantara (Joem Bascon) feels the power he will soon have as the owner of the Alcantara Hacienda. Tomas have a lot of plans for their property in which he wants to sell some part of their Hacienda so that he will continue gambling. Katerina, Tomas sister, knew about what Tomas planned to wherein she strongly disagreed that Tomas will run their business.
