(Alice Bungisngis And Her Wonder Walis) Tandang Alicia (Marita Zobel) is a known sorceress in their place. She has an adopted daughter named Esmeralda (Jean Garcia), whom she had taught all her black magic.While her real daughter, Matilda (Ana Roces) had not the urge of learning the works of her mother. One day, Esmeralda went to the wet market and saw Ipeng (Buboy Garovillo). She gave him a native food and told him to gave it to his wife. Ipeng was very thankful to her. But he did not know that Esmeralda placed something on it. Afterwards, Ipeng went to the church. He was kneeling in going to the altar. Hilario (Janno Gibbs) saw what Ipeng was doing. He approached him and asked what was the problem of his son. Ipeng told him that his son was sick for two days already. He had brought him to the hospital but the doctors have not diagnosed the problem of his son. Hilario suggested to bring the child to Tandang Alicia.the kid was cured when Tandang Alicia worked on him. Ipeng was very thankful that his son is now safe. When Tandang Alicia looked at the cloth she used to cure the child, she was sad when she saw the face of Esmerald on it. She felt weak and sad because she is the reason why Esmeralda is like that. If only she had not taught her sorcery then she would not have been oyt there using the powers fro her personal gain.
